It was a great weekend.
Matt & I spent some quality time together. On Saturday we went to the park and had a mini picnic :) We threw a football around, did a devotional, and talked for a while. I loved it. I'm very happy that spring is almost here.. warmer weather, flowers blooming.. it makes me happy.
Saturday night was the annual fire house banquet. I've gone for the past 15 years (that's how long my dad has been a member) He was presented with his life membership award. I'm so proud of him. I think he's a hero. Every fireman- they run into the burning buildings when everyone else is running out. It scared me when I was little; He would literally come home burnt. I won't go into it more... but I really can't express how proud I am of him.
After the banquet, I was beat.. Katie & I crashed at home and watched the movie, Brideshead Revisited. It was so weird. It was good and all, I didn't really understand the very ending but whatever.
After church Sunday, I took a nap.. I got to meet Simeon's girlfriend. She was a sweetheart. I really liked
HAHAHAHA
This is a joke right? Like someone with a funny sense of humor makes up a religion and then a bunch of idiots take it seriously and start to follow it.
Check out this article... It's ridiculous!!!

I had a job interview yesterday. It was actually a lot of fun. Definitely my favorite thus far. Then again, it's not there's been much of a running. One interview I went on a while ago... I was pretty much told that there would be HR problems if I signed on to the project. Cool. A bunch of old guys find me attractive and they'd sexually harass me the whole time. Awesome. Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't sign on to that project.
Anyway to get pumped to go in for the interview I listened to some of the blues brother's soundtrack. WOO! It really go me going. Here's some lyrics to their one song "Rubber Biscuit":
A Bow Bow
Here ahda hidda molly hidda bidda
here ahda hella buhda jigga wah
aye, ahna haynuh muzza jeeza buhbuh
oww, ahda hella buhbuh bidduh buhbuh
here, ahna hidda haynuh hidda buhduh
aye, ahna haynuh nubbuh gibba wuhbuhwuh
Briar on the hayne on the shubbawub
bear onna hidda molly hiddy wibbuh
prayr on the hidda mulla hidda dibbuh
No matter what you're going through or where you've been in life. Remember that there is always hope. && We are all fallen men.

I was in York that past 36ish hours. It was a lot of fun hanging with the fam and just relaxing eating and doing whatever else.
I saw the Watchmen at the midnight showing. It's 3 hours long and you see a lot of blue shlong in it. And I think the sex scenes could have been longer. (PLEASE NOTE THE SARCASM). It was friggin' ridiculous!
The past few days I've watched some tv shows & movies from my childhood. Disney's The Jungle Book and Robin Hood. Matt and I even found a couple of episodes of Doug that our generation used to watch all the time. Wow, everything was so corny- so old... animation has come a very long way. But I loved it nonetheless. ::sigh::

Matty got the new car- and it's BEAUTIFUL! I friggin' love it. I'll NEVER go to Chapman Chevrolet again. Seriously it was horrible service. Matt got a great deal on the car, but the people we had to work with made the whole experience so frustrating, I was ready to curse them off by the end of it. If you're in the market for a new car and you're looking at a Chevy, save yourself the trouble and go to a different dealership.
Saturday night was Brenda's fundraiser Ball- it was sooo much fun! I had a blast. We ate, we chatted, we danced. It was awesome.
Yesterday I did a photoshoot at Petulia's Folly for 9 hours. I was so exhausted by the end of the day; I was completely out of it by the time I got home. Poor Katie & Matt for having to deal with me. Once I get some photos I'll post a linkage so you can see my latest work. woop woop!
