To raise me up from this grave
Touch my tongue and then I’ll sing
Heal my limbs then joyfully I’ll run to You

I'm not looking forward to my "clear liquids" diet for tomorrow. Megan likes her solid foods!
At least its only for one day. -Positivity!-

My "summer" is officially over. Back to school today. woo woo.
I have so much reading to do it's not even funny. Go me!

I "stumbled upon" this. You program what mood you're in, then it plays back music and pictures/ video clips to show you depending on the mood you set. It has me quite enthralled.

Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand
And I come here to talk
I hope you understand

That green eyes, yeah the spotlight, shines upon you
And how could, anybody, deny you

I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter, now I’ve met you
And honey you should know, that I could never go on without you

Green eyes

Honey you are the sea
Upon which I float
And I came here to talk
I think you should know

That green eyes, you’re the one that I wanted to find
And anyone who, tried to deny you must be out of their mind

Cause I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter, since I met you
Honey you should know, that I could never go on without you

Green eyes Green eyes

Jerry Lewis 07/07/2008

A couple weeks ago my mom came home with a DVD set of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis.. movies, comedy hours etc on the discs. And oh my goodness do I love them! Of course I had heard of Jerry Lewis before, but I had never seen things from the beginning of his career. I think he's hilarious. I love slap-stick humor, and physical comedy which is the bulk of what he does. He has an animated face that he plays up on the screen and seems to love to make an idiot of himself. I love when people can do that. Make people laugh, but also laugh at themselves. Comedians these days tend to be so vulgar and inappropriate- I appreciate the old stuff where everything was light and all that trash wasn't allowed on television yet.
I also found the dynamic between Lewis & Martin to be perfectly balanced. Jerry is more the clown, doing/ saying something crazy, just very eccentric. And Dean is more laid back and casual and blends well with Lewis. I think Jerry would be too much on his own, and Dean wouldn't be enough. They're a great team.

I'm finding more and more that I enjoy the culture of the 1950's. I think I was born in the wrong decade.
