I ordered the books I need for my new class over a week ago and they still haven't arrived! what the what?! I gave plenty of time for them to get here on time. lame lame lame. This is so ghey.  My new class starts today, so after all my reading is done from the classroom, I get to go to border's (hopefully they'll have the stupid books) and chill for a few hours and take notes. AWESOME.

anywho.. last night I went to see Aqualogic at Bootleggers, they.were.fantastic. Seriously, the show was amazing. Plus the drummer is a flippin' hottie! Great eye candy... let me tell ya! ow ow!

I don't want to do my school work today. I have to, but I really don't want to.
I gonna watch Get Smart later... my whole family has already watched it and I've heard their laughter come up through the floors, so I figure it's funny which means I'll probably like it. I need to laugh, especially today.
I'm also in the mood to watch the Darjeeling Limited. I love that movie. It's so good & it's been a while... since I have to stay in tonight, perhaps I'll watch both of these.

word.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'm visiting my cousin in York, and also seeing

I'm not a huge fan of the song... It's alright. A lot of Beyonce's songs sound the same to me. But she's talented. In this video for her song "Single Ladies" I really love the choreography in it. And her back up dancers are so great in it. They're all in sync with each other. Some of the moves remind me of Fosse. Love it!

Girl's night 11/07/2008

I had a girl's night with my sister last night. :) We had take-out from Bertucci's, bought some wine, and went to see The Duchess. I really had no idea what the movie was about. It's not what I was expecting, but I loved it. I thought it was really well done, and the actors were great in it. It's a sad movie. It's based on a true story, so it was sad thinking that Georgiana had to live that life. I don't know what I would do. I wouldn't have been able to live in those times. Eh, I'm not gonna go into it. It'll spoil the movie if I explain...

Anyway, after the movie we went to Jocelyn's. Aqualogic had a gig there. The place was packed. It was so hot in

I went to custom bagel to get some breakfast this morning (delish!) then I went to my designated place to exercise my right to vote. My name wasn't on the stupid list! Voting shouldn't be this difficult. A judge had to call lord knows who and was on the phone for like 20 minutes to figure out what had to be done and see if I would even be allowed to vote. Luckily I had my registration card with me, so she could throw a number out there that says I'm registered, a real human being, and should be able to vote. Eesh, long story short... I was able to vote. YAY! I was really excited. Honestly I would have cried if they said I wouldn't be allowed to. Last election I was 17 so this is my first time to be a part of an election, and this is a historical election at that!
Afterwards, I went to starbucks to get my free coffee! If you go and tell them you voted, they'll give you a free small coffee. It's absolutely wonderful. :)

For a recap of the weekend...

Halloween was a lot of fun. I was a mad scientist, to which I "created" dancing robots to take over the world. Matty and Dave were my robots. They did an awesome job on their costumes!! We went to Transit in Philadelphia and danced our little butts off. It was a ton of fun.
I took the longest shower trying to get all the hair spray out of my hair. It was so intense and disgusting. Hahaha but whatever it was worth it. I even had a computer cord in my hair- awesome. I know.

On Saturday I was supposed to go see a ballet in the city with a friend of mine... but we ended up not going. I was really bummed about it. I love ballet. It's so close to my heart, I really can't express how much it means to me. That was my old life. There were big plans for me if I didn't get sick and injured. But whatever.. water under the bridge.

It was so cute though, I told Matthew that I wasn't going anymore and his heart really went out to me. He had a busy day, but if he was done in time he was going to take me because he knew how much it meant to me. Him loving me that much, and willing/ wanting to take me completely blew me away. I was crying, it wasn't necessary for him to do that. Again, I don't have the words to share how much that meant to me.
He wasn't able to get out of what he was doing, so we didn't go (I knew we were going to make it). And it was totally okay- it was the thought that counted. He's so wonderful.

Saturday night I was at a friend's house, I had a lot of fun, I met a bunch of new people from another Calvary located in Exton. We played games, and just talked getting to know one another. And Dana prepared some amazing food for us! That girl loves to spoil us!! THANK YOU DANA!

Sunday for whatever reason, there was a power outage in Media, but only on like one block. Of course that block held the Media Theater (which is where we hold Sunday church). It was awesome though. Worship continued on. Drew totally handled it and kept it going, Pastor Steve preached by flash light and we sat in the dark. It was really cool.
After church, Keely, Annie and I went out to lunch. It was nice to catch up with the ladies for a little bit. No one really gets to see each other anymore.
