It's getting darker out earlier in the day, the trees are losing their leaves and it makes me unhappy. I was totally loving all the colors surrounding me on my way to work (I drive through an arboretum.) ::sigh::

Halloween was fun, Matt and I went to a couple of parties- I was a cute ladybug, and he was a skeleton. :) We watched I Am Legend, and it made me cry. For real. It was just because of the dog.
On Friday before Halloween, I wore my ladybug antennae at work. No body else dressed up! And I only had on a headband! Weak. I was disappointed, but everyone seemed to like that I was somewhat in the spirit. haha

Highlight of my week:
Going outside with a pile of blankets, laying on the trampoline with Matty and looking at the stars. :) It was so romantic.

I took him to his restaurant of choice which was The High Street Caffe. It was definitely an experience. We ordered this crawfish appetizer, that was so incredibly hot, I couldn't eat more than 3 pieces & Matt was eating whole forkfuls that were making him sweat. I wish I captured his facial expressions when the hottness hit him because they were PRICELESS. We down a ton of water and ate two loaves of bread, lathered our tongues with the sour cream the dish came with and we were still hurting. By the time our meals came we both ate about 5 bites and decided we couldn't eat anymore. We just laughed. We were pathetic, but it was fun. We took our meals to-go, and I know I'll be enjoying the rest of mine for lunch this afternoon.

After dinner, we stopped at my house so my family could give him his present, and then went back to his house so he could play his new video game I got him, Forza3. His family made him a birthday cake, so we had tiny pieces of that, and then went off to play the new game. It was a lot of fun.
All in all, a good night with fun had by all. :)

]]><![CDATA[Good Time]]>Tue, 13 Oct 2009 14:28:13 +0700http://meganism.weebly.com/2/post/2009/10/good-time.htmlFriday night, I surprised Matt and took him to this place in Phoenixville that has go karts, and laser tag. It was so much freaking fun!
I won our go kart race! Then we took on a couple of kids in laser tag and beat them somehow. We were outnumbered, and definitely not as energized as the youngins' but I guess they didn't get the concept of hitting the particular areas on the vests. HA! They were seriously the best part of the night, they were a lot of fun.
After laser tag we were beat, but we played around in the arcade for a little bit and called it quits shortly thereafter.

Saturday I worked, and Matt brought me flowers. It was so sweet. I love him. :)

Sunday, after church Matt and I went to lunch with our friends Brenda and Ryan at Panera, then went to Linvilla Orchards for a little while. It was a great afternoon.
We went our separate ways, only after my dad brought me my spare key -- first time I've locked my key in the car. AWESOME.
Matt and I played some rock band. && for dinner we got our FREE burgers at tgi Friday's. Let me tell you... I was delicious. I downed that thing. ;alskdfj It was so good.

We saw Surrogates, I've gotta say it was pretty weak. I thought it was gonna be better. But eh, whatever.

Today we worked on my car. We changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, windshield wipers, and some other fluids. Then tried to fix some squeaky noises coming from the door and center console. We had a very productive afternoon.

Random little sidenote: I've decided that weekends are entirely too short. =\
